Lucinda Watson
Lucinda taught communication at Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley for 15 years. Her book of interviews “How They Achieved: Stories of Personal Achievement & Business Success” was published in 2001 by Wiley. Lucinda's debut collection of poems "The Favorite" was published by Golden Antelope Press in 2020. In addition, her work has appeared in over a dozen journals including The Louisville Review, The Round, Poet Lore and Pennsylvania English. Two of her poems were nominated for the 2017 Pushcart Prize.
She graduated from Sarah Lawrence and received two master’s degrees, one in speech/communication from San Francisco State University and the other in writing from Manhattanville College. She has studied with Sharon Olds, Richard Blanco and Robert Hass.
